Lake home patios and walks
Patios on the downhill side of lake homes often tip as fill settles. Lifting can restore a more even surface and slope away from the house when the slab is still in good condition. Cracked sections may need replacement.
Polyfoam Concrete Lifting · Henry County
Clinton is the Henry County seat, known for its large downtown square, the western end of the Katy Trail, and nearby Truman Lake. Metro Wide lifts settled driveways, walks, patios, and shop floors with polyurethane foam, and we often quote these projects from texted photos.
Concrete Leveling Near You
Clinton sits near the outer edge of our service area, and the properties here reflect a mix of small-city and lake-country living. Homes around the downtown square and on the older streets have walks and porches with many years of settling behind them. Newer homes on the edges of town have broad driveways and patios. Out toward Truman Lake, there are weekend places, year-round lake homes, and rural properties with shops and long drives. The Katy Trail also brings visitors through town, which makes safe sidewalks and entries matter to local businesses.
Lake and rural properties in particular can be a challenge for concrete repair. Getting a crew, a breaker, and a concrete truck out to a sloped lot or down a long gravel road is not always easy, and replacing a patio near the water can disrupt landscaping and access. Polyurethane foam leveling needs only small ports and a hose run from our rig. If the slab is sound, we can usually lift it in place. If it is too broken, we will say so.

At roughly 66 miles southeast of downtown Kansas City, Clinton is in the outer part of our 75-mile coverage radius. We group projects by route, so starting with photos and measurements lets us quote the job remotely and schedule it efficiently.
Local Conditions
Henry County has a mix of clay soils and rolling ground that drains toward the reservoirs and creeks around Truman Lake. Clay expands when it soaks up water and contracts as it dries, and that seasonal swing slowly opens voids under slabs. Freeze–thaw cycles widen joints, which lets more water reach the soil underneath. Hot, dry summers tend to make the gaps worse.
Around the lake, many homes are built on sloped lots, sometimes with cut-and-fill grading to create a level building pad. Fill on the downhill side keeps settling for years, and patios and walks on that side are often the first to tip. Roof runoff and water running down a slope tend to follow slab edges, undermining them. In town, older concrete has had decades of that wetting and drying, and some was poured on minimal base. Each of these situations calls for a slightly different approach, so we look closely at slope and drainage when we review your photos. Gravel roads and drives that channel water toward a patio or shop door are another common source of trouble.

Common Clinton Projects
Every slab is different, so we start with what is happening at your property. These are the repairs Clinton property owners ask us about most.
Patios on the downhill side of lake homes often tip as fill settles. Lifting can restore a more even surface and slope away from the house when the slab is still in good condition. Cracked sections may need replacement.
Sidewalks and entry slabs around the Clinton square see steady foot traffic. Raising sunken sections reduces trip hazards without closing storefronts for a long replacement project. Ports are small and patched when the work is done.
Detached shops on rural properties often settle near the overhead door. Lifting the low area helps the door seal and keeps vehicles and equipment from rolling over a ledge. It also reduces water pooling at the door.
Older driveways in town tend to have one or two panels that have dropped below the rest. We lift those sections to smooth the joints and keep water from pooling. The original concrete stays in place.
Our Clinton Leveling Process
Text a wide shot, close-ups of the low joints, a tape measure showing the drop, and the address.
We look at the settlement, slab condition, and drainage, and follow up with a quote or questions.
On the day of the repair we drill small access holes at planned points across the settled slab.
Expanding polyurethane fills the voids and raises the concrete gradually while we watch the transitions.
Ports are patched, the area is cleaned, and the surface can usually be used again soon after.

Clinton Concrete Leveling FAQ
Clinton is near the outer edge of our general 75-mile service radius, and we do take projects there. Scheduling depends on the exact address and the size of the job. Texting photos and your address first lets us quote remotely and make sure the work is a good fit before we plan the trip.
Often, yes. Lake properties commonly have patios, walks, and steps that settle on sloped or filled ground. Foam leveling only requires small ports and hose access, which helps on lots where heavy equipment is hard to bring in. Send photos showing the slope and the full slab. We will tell you whether lifting is likely to hold.
Leveling raises the settled concrete, but existing cracks will still be visible afterward. We offer crack and joint sealing as a separate service, which helps keep water out of those gaps so it is less likely to wash out the soil again. If the floor is broken into many pieces, replacement may be the better option for that area.
Sometimes. Raising a patio, walk, or driveway panel that settled toward the house can restore some pitch away from the foundation. Drainage also depends on gutters, downspouts, and surrounding grades, so we point out anything that is likely to undo the repair.
Polyfoam lifting uses small access ports, much smaller than the holes used for traditional mudjacking. The number and placement depend on the slab. After the lift, the ports are patched.
Pricing depends on the size of the slab, how far it has settled, how much void space is underneath, access, and how many areas need work, so we do not publish a flat price. Text photos, rough measurements, and your Clinton address and we can usually provide a remote quote. Leveling is often far less disruptive than tearing out and replacing a slab that is still usable.
